384 Gigabytes in 43 Hours
Posted in Natural Disasters on January 5th, 2005
I volunteered to help out Cheese and Crackers last week by mirroring some tsunami videos. I was a little overwhelmed when my server used up 384 GB of bandwidth in only 43 hours. The main mirror for Cheese and Crackers used up hundreds of terabytes. I guess that’s what happens when Matt Drudge links to your site.
Update: For those of you wishing to donate some money to assist with the Tsunami recovery efforts, Anders Jacobsen has a good list of organizations accepting contributions.
